After some requests for an extension, we have decided to accept abstracts for the PACROFI (Pan American Current Research on Fluid Inclusions) conference 2022 until FRIDAY, JULY 22, 2022. https://cms.eas.ualberta.ca/pacrofi/home-page/pacrofi-2020/

As a reminder, the PACROFI conference brings together scientists from all aspects of geosciences who use fluid and melt inclusions in their research, and features talks and posters highlighting theoretical aspects, methods/analytical approaches, and applications of fluid and melt inclusions to address geologic questions.

At present, the total number of abstracts submitted remains low, and at this stage we cannot guarantee that the in-person portion of the conference will go ahead, unless we receive a significant number of new abstracts in the next days. In the event that submissions remain low, we may be forced to shift the conference to strictly online. We aim to make the final decision in 1 week (Sat., July 23) – at that point, we’ll send an update to the listserv and to all registered attendees and presenters, letting you all know whether the in-person part will go ahead or not. Apologies for the uncertainty, and we appreciate your patience as we figure this out.
