Dear colleagues, We are seeking a postdoctoral researcher to join our Mineralogy group at the University of Bremen, working at the intersection of machine learning and geoscience. The project This position, embedded within the EXCITE Network (www.excite-network.eu<http://www.excite-network.eu>) and in close collaboration with MARUM, focuses on developing AI and machine learning methods to investigate fluid-rock interactions across multiple scales. The successful candidate will work with multimodal imaging data (3D microscopy, µCT, VSI, spectroscopy) and apply physics-informed machine learning (PINNs) to link experimental observations with reactive transport models. Applications include carbon storage, energy transformation, and marine geochemical cycles.
