Dear All, Professor Jack Zussman will celebrate his 100th birthday on 31st July 2024! Prof Zussman had a highly successful career as a mineralogist, and co-authored the definitive mineralogy volumes by Deer, Howie and Zussman (DHZ). He spent over 30 years overall at the University of Manchester, UK from 1952-1962, moving to Oxford but returning in 1967 as the Head of the Department of Geology from 1967 to 1989.
