**Apologize for multiple postings**   Hello everyone,\ \ We are pleased to announce the 5th "Virtual Workshop on EPMA Developments and Applications". The upcoming virtual workshop is on 25-28 March 2024 with FRESH speakers and topics (compared to previous years).   We will cover topics ranging from the basics of EPMA, conventional major element quantitative analysis to new developments in X-ray mapping, trace element analysis, analytical protocols for glassy materials, halogen measurements, estimation of magma storage and ascent conditions of volcanics, magmatic sulfide implications, and meteoritics (classification, and implications on planetary formation).
