**SOLICITATIONS FOR NOMINATIONS** **PROFESSIONAL AWARDS BY THE CLAY MINERALS SOCIETY**   **Deadlines for Nominations for Awards**   **Jackson, Brindley, and Bailey:                                Friday, March 6, 2026**                         **Huff Pathway:                      Monday, November 17, 2025**  The Awards Committee of The Clay Minerals Society is soliciting nomination for its various awards for 2026.  A recently established award is the **Warren Huff Clay Science Pathway Award** for young scientists within 5 years of their latest graduate degree. We urge young scientists to consider applying for this new award. No nominator is required.  Other awards available for 2026 are the Marilyn and Sturges W. Bailey, Marion L. and Chrystie M. Jackson Mid-career Clay Scientist, and George W.
