We are looking for folks with expertise in geochemistry. Experience with operating an SEM/EDS, portable XRF, and/or LIBS is greatly valued. The deadline for our one-year Governor's Fellowship position at the Pennsylvania Geological Survey (Middletown, Pennsylvania, USA) posted earlier in March has been extended to April 21, 2024.
This position will focus on novel geochemical research into historical iron ores and slags in Pennsylvania, their potential for critical mineral extraction, and application of new research toward serving the public through outreach.
