**SOLICITATIONS FOR NOMINATIONS** **PROFESSIONAL AWARDS BY THE CLAY MINERALS SOCIETY**  **Deadlines for Nominations for Awards**           **NEW!       Huff Pathway:                      Monday, November 17, 2025**   **Jackson, Brindley, and Bailey:                             Monday, March 3, 2025**   The Awards Committee of The Clay Minerals Society is soliciting nomination for its various awards for 2025.  New this year is the **Warren Huff Clay Science Pathway Award** for young scientists within 5 years of their latest graduate degree. We urge young scientists to consider applying for this new award. No nominator is required. Other awards available for 2025 are the Marilyn and Sturges W. Bailey, Marion L. and Chrystie M. Jackson Mid-career Clay Scientist, and George W.
