Dear MSA List-Serv Subscribers: Following the highly successful Inaugural Annual MSA Meeting in Tucson, Arizona this past February, planning for Tucson 2027 is already underway. The 2027 meeting will begin on Sunday, February 14, with a Breakfast with a Mineralogist event during the Tucson Gem & Mineral Show (TGMS), followed by Sunday afternoon talks on mineralogy targeting the mineral enthusiasts who will be attending TGMS. Technical oral sessions will begin on Monday, February 15, and continue through Wednesday, February 17, with poster sessions on Monday and Tuesday. An evening reception at the world-renowned Alfie Norville Gem and Mineral Museum, housed in the Pima County Historic Courthouse, is planned for Tuesday evening, with field trips on Thursday, February 18.
