Hello Clay Community,  We would like to call to your attention that **The Clay Minerals Society’s 2023 Annual Meeting** will be held from **May 20-25, 2023,** in **Austin, Texas**. This event will be hosted at the University of Texas-Austin, J.J. Pickle Research Campus.  The short course will cover chlorite geology, geochemistry, and mineralogy through lectures and core viewing. Cores and core viewing will be provided by the University of Texas at Austin Bureau of Economic Geology Austin Core Research Center.  Field trips will focus on clay mineralogy and geology of cave complexes in the Edwards Limestone near Austin, Texas and lead by researchers from National Cave & Karst Research Institute and University of Texas at Austin Jackson School of Geosciences.  Session proposal submission will open soon.
