Dear MSA Colleagues,

I am pleased to share that the next episode of Every Rock Has A Story has
just posted on my YouTube Channel
https://www.youtube.com/@EveryRockHasAStory:

Episode 84 https://youtu.be/UOk1TAYBH8I
"Footprints in the Ash" https://youtu.be/UOk1TAYBH8I
w/ Christina Cauley https://youtu.be/UOk1TAYBH8I

Did you know that Kilauea sometimes blows ASH more like Mt St Helens?  This
episode is about a chunk of basaltic spatter from a remarkable 320 year
period of explosive ash eruptions from Kilauea.  And when it exploded in
1790, it forever changed the history of the Kingdom of Hawaii.
Volcanologist Christina Cauley tells us the story.

Please watch and SHARE with kids, parents, teachers and anyone else who
wonders about our amazing Earth.  Our goal remains the same: to inspire the
next generation of geoscientists and to show ALL kids that geoscience is
for everyone.

Best,
Ethan

p.s. and for fun, take a peek at the short clip from the New England EMMY
Awards last weekend https://youtube.com/shorts/nHz22V7NvUY?feature=share...
we were nominated for the 4th year in a row!!
