Dear Colleagues, I am seeking enthusiastic and motivated students for MS and PhD-level projects starting Summer 2024 in igneous petrology at Texas Tech University. Project areas include investigating regional spatiotemporal and geochemical patterns of arc magmatism, volcanic-plutonic connections, and the dynamics of magma reservoirs using magmatic structures. Research activities include a combination of field mapping and laboratory analysis, including rock and mineral geochemistry by LA-ICP-MS.
