This is a full-time, 9-month position. The research specialization for this position is open.  The successful candidate's specific field of expertise may include but is not limited to global environmental change, climate science, critical zone science, hydrology, geohealth, geodesy, geodynamics, the study of Earth's deep interior, rock deformation, and structural geology. The successful candidate will teach one or more core courses in our environmental sciences and geological sciences programs. These will be in structural geology, hydrology, Earth materials or petrology, data science, or GIS and remote sensing applications. The successful candidate is also expected to develop advanced courses that contribute to our Environmental Science B.S., Geological Sciences B.S. and B.A., and Earth Sciences M.S. programs. The candidate hired to fill this position will establish an independent, externally funded research program that includes mentoring undergraduate and graduate students.
