Hello PIGs, here's an addendum from Bob Martin:

Session on Pegmatites and Pegmatite Mineralogy, IMA 2014 in Johannesburg

Dear colleagues,

In connection with the above session, please note that the convenors never did intend to
restrict the session to pegmatites occurring somewhere on the African continent. The
wording of the original invitation was found to be confusing by some. In addition to
contributions on the mineralogy and petrology of pegmatites, proposals for a revised scheme
of classification also are welcome. Note also that the deadline for abstract submission has
now been deferred to March 10th, 2014 [http://www.ima2014.co.za].  As announced earlier,
the session will be sponsored by the Mineralogical Association of Canada, and a thematic
issue of The Canadian Mineralogist is anticipated, in keeping with tradition. Of course,
attendance in Johannesburg is not a condition for contributing to that thematic issue. We do
look forward to your participation!
