Colleagues
Our old and commercially made BXA, BXO, OA, and Flash figure mineral grain mounts for biaxial and uniaxial minerals are broken or have yellowing cracking Canada Balsam. We’d like to resupply
A quick Google search did not reveal any clear supplier.
Can anyone provide advice as to where to purchase sets of these for teaching optical mineralogy? If so, please pass along. Quality more important than cost.
We can get these made commercially from samples we supply (biotite, muscovite, apatite, etc), but hoping some still sells.
Best regards,
JOHN Dilles
