Dear MSA community,
Please consider participating in the upcoming Interior of the Earth
Gordon Research Conference. For this GRC, chair Ed Garnero and I are
excited to link the disciplines of planetary inquiry in an evolutionary
context. The Meeting Description and Program can be found on the “Web
Site” link, above, or here: http://www.grc.org/programs.aspx?id=12545 If
you have never been to a GRC, now is your chance -- it is a relaxed
venue to hear the newest, most exciting work on Earth's Interior, with
plenty of time for discussion and interaction.
Additionally, a /Gordon Research Seminar/ will be held in conjunction
with the above GRC. The Interior of the Earth GRS

scheduled to take place from June 3-4, 2017 at Mount Holyoke College,
South Hadley, MA and will be chaired by Zachary Eilon. Please visit the
GRC web site for more information. The GRS is a 2-day meeting held in
conjunction with the GRC that enables graduate students, post-docs, and
other scientists with comparable levels of experience to come together
in a highly-stimulating and non-intimidating environment to discuss
their current research and build informal networks with their peers. The
GRS is organized by young investigators with the support of leading
scientists from the associated GRC.
If you have any questions or would like further information, please
contact Megan Totten mailto:mtotten@grc.org, the Conference Operations
Associate for this meeting.
Please note: the registration deadline for this meeting isSunday, May
14, 2017. If your registration is not complete before the deadline,
your acceptance to this meeting will be cancelled.
Hope to see you there!
