The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) is looking for qualified undergraduate or graduate students for our Research Internship program in our New York and Carlsbad, California labs!
Interns will participate in a research project alongside GIA's scientists and gemologists on exciting, outstanding gemological challenges. Internships will run from 2-3 months and interns will have access to GIA's extensive reference collection of gemstones as well as our analytical instrumentation including UV-Vis, Raman spectroscopy, FTIR, LA-ICP-MS, XRF, etc...
