Dear Members, This is a reminder that the deadline for recommending your colleagues for awards is soon approaching. *The deadline for nominations for the Leonard Medal, Nier Prize and Barringer Medal is January 15. The deadline for the Service Award nominations is January 31.* *This coming year we also nominate Fellows to the The Society. (*1% of the membership may be elected as new Fellows.) *The deadline for nominations is January 15, 2018*. In past years, candidates for many of our awards were dominantly male. We need nominations, but please remember to be proactive in nominating your female colleagues, so that this disparity can be addressed.
