The Clay Minerals Society Council has launched a new webinar program called the ‘Clayminar Series’. This series will begin in November 2023 and will run occasionally throughout the next year. The first presentation in the series will be delivered by **Joe Stucki** and **Kevin Murphy** (on **November 14th** **at 7.30 pm China Standard Time**) and will offer advice on writing and presenting of scientific manuscripts to our journal (*Clays and Clay Minerals*) for review purposes. This advice will be relevant to all journals.   The second clayminar will be held in early December 2023 and will consist of advice by **Andrew Elwood-Madden** and **Janice Bishop** on how to improve your chances of success when applying for Student Grants.  Plenty of time will be given in the program for questions.
