Dear All We are pleased to announce the International Symposium as the first of a series of events under the theme program "Frontier of Understanding Earth’s Interior and Dynamics" on August 8 and 9 in Sendai, Japan, and online. Our program aims to build and grow a community of interdisciplinary scientists by identifying new approaches to critical problems in earth sciences. What will a new technology do for our science? More specifically, what are the full range of scientific goals that can be examined with parallel experiments -- a deep drill hole through the ocean crust to the Moho combined with an ocean bottom detector measuring the particle flux of geoneutrinos, muons, and alphas?
