Dear colleagues,

Are you interested in geochemical modeling of hydrothermal fluid-rock reactions or ore-forming processes using GEMS or PHREEQC? Do you want to use our thermodynamic databases (MINES, SUCPRTBL), or GEMS tools to evaluate experimental data? Or learn about linking geochemical models with field observations in critical mineral deposits?

This year, we are organizing a 2-day workshop at Goldschmidt in Montreal. Please consider registering when you submit your abstract, more infos below!

Workshop Sat/Su July 11 - 12:  Ore-forming processes and metasomatism: experimental and modeling methods for interpreting critical mineral deposits in geologic systems

Organizers: Alexander Gysi (New Mexico Tech), Nicole Hurtig (New Mexico Tech), Daniel Harlov (Geoforschungszentrum Postdam), George Dan Miron (Paul Scherrer Institute), Chen Zhu (Indiana U. Bloomington)

The deadline for registration to the workshop is June 1, 2026.

							For the conveners.
