The Virginia Geological Survey (Virginia Department of Energy, Geology and Mineral Resources program) would like to announce
Position 00424 – Geologist (Scientist II) – Charlottesville: The Geology and Mineral Resources program is seeking to hire a Geologist to develop maps, reports, databases, and web content that support the development and conservation of mineral and energy resources. The successful candidate will complete grant-funded investigations that support critical mineral and energy projects that focus on rare earth element minerals in the Virginia Fall Zone and the potential for the extraction of critical minerals during carbon sequestration. This position will close on July 10, 2024, at 11:55 p.m.
