Dear MSA-Talk Members:
Rice University has recently formed a Center for Planet Formation,
Evolution, and Habitability under its Space Institute. As part of
several opportunities, the Center has recently announced a post-doc
fellowship competition.
Please see the advertisement link below and circulate to the interested
candidates.
The center's areas of interest span a broad range of topics, including
the formation and evolution of planetary systems, the origin, delivery,
distribution, and cycling of life-essential elements on planets, the
interaction between planets and their host stars, comparative
planetology, processes and properties of planetary interiors, and the
interactions between the interiors and planetary surfaces.
There are lots of potential topical areas where prospective candidates
can utilize tools and concepts of geochemistry, cosmochemistry,
petrology, and mineralogy and collaborate with faculty members at Rice.
