Dear CMS Members:              The 2024 Renewals will be sent out today.  If you do not receive a renewal please contact the CMS Business Office ([www.clays.org](http://www.clays.org/)) to have one resent.              There have been a few changes in the renewals to note:  1)    There will no longer be paper copies of the Journal Clays and Clay Minerals.  However, all memberships will continue to have access to the Journal online. 2)    The new Publisher beginning in 2024 will be Cambridge (a change from Springer).  Members will be able to access past content through Cambridge and Springer. 3)    Beginning in 2024 Student Membership will Be FREE.  This does include on-line access to the Journal.  All students will be required to fill out a renewal form if they are interested in retaining membership status in CMS. 4)    There has been a new category created called the “Associate Member”.  This is for “early-career researchers” within three years of their final higher education degree in fields related to clay mineral science and technology.  They shall pay no dues if they meet one of the criteria for this category: 1) publish in Clays and Clay Minerals, 2) attend the CMS annual meeting or 3) purchase a Source Clay.  Please contact the CMS Business Office for verification ([www.clays.org](http://www.clays.org/)).  Thank you for continuing to support CMS.
