Colleagues - a reminder As many of you know, we have been working on the development of an accessible database focused on data from trace element partitioning experiments (traceDs). This message is to inform the community that we are making changes in how and where you may upload your data. In addition, for most of you, EarthChem represents an "official" repository that satisfies funding agency requirements. The process for submission is provided in the link above. It provides access to information on what is required for inclusion, a data template, and a pathway for upload. In the interest of providing the community with more substantial assistance in getting your data included, we will be holding a workshop (by zoom) to go over the individual steps for upload. The workshop is intended for anyone who is planning on - or has recently published trace element partitioning data - and especially for graduate students who are beginning their projects. In that case, one can be better informed with respect the standards for inclusion as you are collecting your data. The workshop will take place on April 30 at 1 PM (MDT) ( 7PM GMT). Our focus will be on helping those who produced the data (e.g., graduate students and post-doctoral fellows) get through the process of data upload.
