Dear all,

With my colleagues Austin Gion (Oxford) and Juliane Kummerow (GFZ), we
would like to draw your attention on the EGU session GMPV10.7 entitled
'Volcanoes and their geothermal systems: Properties, risks and resources':

https://www.egu26.eu/session/57811

The aim of this session is to bring together the different communities
working from close or far (geophysics, geochemistry, structural geology,
geothermal, economic geology, experimental petrology or numerical
modeling) on volcanoes and their geotehrmal systems to discuss what we
know and still have to learn about these complex systems.

Samuel Scott (Iceland) has agreed on giving an invited talk on modeling
supercritical systems
.

EGU will be held in Vienna, May 3rd-8th 2026, and the abstract
deadline is set forJanuary 15th (13:00 CET).

Best regards,

Marion Louvel (ISTO, CNRS, France)
