MSA 2020 Elections for 2021 Officers and Councilors

The online ballothttps://msa.minsocam.org/electionstart2020.html is now available for this year’s elections on the MSA website.  Candidates for the different positions are:
President: Mark Ghiorso
Vice-President: Pamela Burnley and Craig Manning
Treasurer: Glenn Gaetani and Paul Tomascak
Councilor I: Robert Bodnar and Michael Williams
Councilor II: Darrell Henry and Jennifer Jackson

Voting is open until midnight on August 15, 2020. Those MSA members without email addresses will receive paper ballots and return envelopes. Any member may also request a paper ballot by contacting Ann Benbow at abenbow@minsocam.orgmailto:abenbow@minsocam.org.

In addition to columns What’s New and Gem Notes, articles cover such topics as amber from Myanmar, saltwater cultured pearls in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates), diamonds from Suriname, and pink axinite from Tanzania.
