- Laurie Racca, PG, Senior Registrar, California Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors and Geologists
Laurie Racca will present a discussion of the national licensing exams for geologists prepared by the National Association of State Boards of Geology (ASBOG). She will discuss the purpose of the license, qualification requirements (education, experience, exams), and the Geologist-in-Training Certificate.

- Shanna Schmitt, PG, CPG, Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA)
Shanna Schmitt will present a discussion on the ASBOGĀ® Practice of Geology (PG) exam, including when to sit for the exam, how to study, why being licensed is a great idea, and some advice for early career professionals.
Jazzy Graham-Davis is a certified Geologist-in-Training in the state of California.
They graduated with a BS in Geology in 2019 and passed the Fundamentals of Geology exam in Fall of 2020. They will be sharing their advice on the GIT process and the FG exam.
