Rebuilding SEM tungsten filaments

Dear All:

Does anyone know of a source for buying rebuilt tungsten SEM filaments?

I’m trying to get K-type filaments for a JEOL 6010LA benchtop. For many years EMS would refurbish them at a fraction of the cost of buying new, but it seems they’re no longer offering the rebuild service. I haven’t had any luck finding options online.

Thanks!

Isabel

Have you tried Applied Physics Technologies (https://www.a-p-tech.com/)? They offer rebuilds on select filaments. Not sure about the type Ks, but you can ask.
