Graduate School Open House at Montclair State University, October 16, 2016
Opportunities in Earth and Environmental Science (MS), Sustainability Science (MS, PSM), and Environmental Management (PhD)
The Department of Earth and Environmental Studies at Montclair State University, Montclair NJ, invites prospective graduate students to attend a Graduate School Open House on Sunday, October 16, beginning at 12pm. You will have the opportunity to meet with program faculty and current students, learn about our suite of Earth, Environmental and Sustainability degree and certificate programs, explore research opportunities, and tour our facilities. Attendees will receive a graduate application fee waiver of $60.
For those who are driving, please use 1 Normal Avenue, Montclair, NJ 07043 as your GPS address. Our campus can also be reached using the NJ Transit System (www.njtransit.com).
The Department of Earth and Environmental Studies offers Master of Science degrees in Earth and Environmental Science and Sustainability Science, a Professional Science Masters in Sustainability Science, and houses the university-wide transdisciplinary PhD program in Environmental Management. Our programs are mentoring-intensive, with research areas including: Earth's surface processes, hydrology, climate change, GIS, remote sensing, geochemistry, environmental remediation, tectonics and geophysics, environmental economics and policy, earth systems modeling, coastal management, sustainability policy and management, urban environmental studies, economic modeling and impact analysis, and resource management and conservation. Our student body is highly diverse, with students entering with STEM, humanities, and business backgrounds.
