Hi everyone, We'd like to draw your attention to the symposium we are organizing at this year's Microscopy & Microanalysis Meeting on "Moon dust, Minerals, and Microscopy." Sessions details: The analysis of earth and planetary materials through microscopy and other microanalytical techniques is fundamental to improving our understanding of the formation and evolution of Earth and other planets across the solar system. These techniques are especially important in the wake of renewed interest in returning to the Moon, and past, present, and future sample return missions to other planetary bodies. The proposed session solicits papers focused on state-of-the-art sample analysis and preparation techniques for terrestrial and extraterrestrial materials.
