Dear Meteoritical Society Members: As you know, we have had to cancel our annual society meeting (that had originally been scheduled for Glasgow later this summer) owing to the current circumstances relating to COVID-19. As such, we invite applications from early career researchers (undergraduate or graduate students enrolled at any college or university, or other researchers within 5 years of their PhD) who are interested in attending the virtual Goldschmidt Conference this year. These early career researchers should either currently be members of the Meteoritical Society or be supervised by Society members. Your full name and institutional affiliation, as well as date of highest degree attained; please also indicate if you are Meteoritical Society member, or if you are a student, whether your faculty advisor is a Meteoritical Society member (if the latter, please provide their full name). 2. If you are currently a student, please attach proof of status as a student (i.e., an email from your faculty advisor at your institution confirming this). 3. A statement of why it is important for you to attend the Goldschmidt conference this year (250 words max.) 4. Proof of your registration for the virtual Goldschmidt conference this year (please append PDF file of receipt). 5. PDF file of your Goldschmidt abstract, if one was submitted.
