Dear Colleagues,

The programme for our upcoming hybrid conference 'Analytical Microscopy in the Earth & Planetary Sciences' at The Geological Society, in partnership with the Mineralogical Society of UK and Ireland, is now live & there is still time to register!

Analytical Microscopy in the Earth & Planetary Sciences | 26-27 February 2026 | Hybrid; online & in-person (London, UK)

With talks from quantitative & automated mineralogy to lithium and porous media, EBSD development over the last 30 years to Open Access online microscopes and Machine Learning, and from Mars rovers to asteroids, this programme has something for everyone!

A massive thank you to our sponsors, Buehler, JEOL EUROPE, Bruker, Gatan, Tescan, Thermo Fisher Scientific, & Wonderful Scientific, who will be exhibiting at the meeting, and whose support has allowed us to discount registration to this new meeting, including significant discounts for students!
