Dear all,
The call for session proposals for Goldschmidt 2021 is now open and we
invite the community to submit suggestions for sessions to contribute to
another high-quality science program that will advance geochemistry and
related fields. Your sessions should have a broad reach and aim to attract
at least 25-30 abstract submissions. For any questions regarding the
suitability of your proposed session, please contact the appropriate theme
chairs.
Please consider submitting a session 1 under Theme 1 Solar Systems and
Planets : Geochemical, geodynamical, and astrophysical studies have led to
major advances in understanding the origin(s) and evolution of our and
other planetary systems. The goal of this theme is to bring together
inter-disciplinary contributions that address key questions about how solar
systems form and evolve through time. Topics of interest include
protoplanetary disks, planetary accretion and planetesimal growth,
planetary collisions and volatile transfer, planetary differentiation and
crust formation, as well as impact and magmatic processes on rocky bodies.
We seek sessions that bring together different methodologies, including
analysis of extraterrestrial materials, experiments and numerical modeling,
observations of exoplanetary systems, and results from surface missions
and remote observations of planetary bodies. More information at
