Registration and Abstract Submission: 4th Annual Workshop on Resilient Supply of Critical Minerals

Dear Colleagues,

We are excited to announce that registration and abstract submission are now open for the 4th annual workshop on "Resilient Supply of Critical Minerals", funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF).

The workshop will be held on August 7-8, 2024, on the Missouri S&T campus in Rolla, Missouri. An online option will also be available.

Thanks to continued NSF funding, we are again able to provide travel grants to attend the workshop in-person. Travel Grant application instructions can be found on the workshop website: https://sites.mst.edu/criticalmineralsworkshop/. Preference will be given to students and early career researchers. The deadline to submit travel grants is May 31st, 2024.

The topical sessions of the 2024 workshop are:

  • The Critical Mineral Potential of the USA: Evaluation of existing and exploration for new resources
  • Critical Minerals Workforce Development: How to grow the US critical minerals workforce
  • Mineral Processing & Recycling: Maximizing critical mineral recovery from existing production streams
  • Policy & Supply Chain Economics: Reshoring critical mineral production
