Announce list for all MetSoc members
Wed, Jul 31, 2019 6:14 PM
Dear MetSoc members,
Many members obtain a subscription to Geochimica et Cosmochimica Acta (GCA)
as part of their MetSoc membership. If so, our partner organization, the
Geochemical Society, is considering the future of GCA as the publisher,
Elsevier, has restricted access to some institutions pending negotiations.
To obtain more information, please see the following link:
https://meteoritical.org/publications/geochimica-et-cosmochimica-acta/future-of-the-geochemical-societys-journal
Geochemical Society is conducting a survey and MetSoc leadership considers
it important for MetSoc subscribers to GCA to have a voice in the
discussion. The survey can be accessed from the link above or at:
https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/3QGY2FP
Please respond to this survey preferably by Aug. 10, 2019, so that results
are available to the GS Council during their meeting at the Goldschmidt
Conference.
Sincerely,
Munir.
