Dear colleagues,

The 'Museum National d'Histoire Naturelle de Paris' opens a full
professor position in the broad field of Mineralogy with a special focus
on the "mineral evolution" approach of mineralogy and mineral systematics.

We are thus actively looking for confirmed and mid-carreer scientists
with original and exciting research projects in mineralogy and
petrography that could be carried out at IMPMC (Paris).

Details are here:
https://www.galaxie.enseignementsup-recherche.gouv.fr/ensup/ListesPostesPublies/FIDIS/0753494R/FOPC_0753494R_4214.pdf

In France, a full prof position is typically open to confirmed and
mid-carreer scientists, with an experience in mentoring students (PhD
students ideally). And since this is a MNHN position, candidates may
also show a certain appetite for curation. Note that French scientists
must be "qualified" to apply, while foreigners will need to describe
their experience in a dedicated application form.

Please feel free to circulate this ad widely.
Sincerely

Sylvain Bernard
