Dear all,
I am in the process of setting up a thin section laboratory and hit a bump on the road when found out that the Buehler Petrothin is now quoted > $18K.
I am considering alternative options and would like to hear what you think about it.
I checked and the Hillquist Thin Section Machine is only ~7K.
I am wondering how much of this price different is quality versus branding.
Any advice/comment on this regard you might be able to share based on your experience will be greatly useful and appreciated!
What instrument would you suggest?
Thanks,
Sara
