Message for MSA Members:
It is December, and at the end of the month Alex Speer will retire after 25 years as MSA’s Executive Director. Many of us cannot remember MSA before Alex took charge in 1995, but all can appreciate the fantastic job he has done organizing MSA into a robust professional society, run by member volunteers, and coordinated by a small professional staff. Thankfully, Alex is not leaving MSA, he’s just exchanging the full-time Executive Director position to that of full-time MSA Fellow. We look forward to his continued inspiration and interaction.
