Hello Clay Community,

This is a friendly reminder that the 2023 CMS Annual Meeting abstract submission deadline is less than 1-week away.

All clay-related research abstracts are welcome! In addition to our favorite clays, we have a spectacular array of abstracts covering similar materials, e.g., zeolites, layered double hydroxides, and Mxenes!

As the conference is being developed, we will continually have key updates.

1.      The short course is now focused on teaching new and experienced users on 1D and 3D clay modeling using Sybilla. This software package has been publicly released to The Clay Mineral Society allowing users free access.

2.      We have added a new field trip examining the geology of the Ca-bentonite deposits in Central Texas. We still have an exciting trip to see the clays down under (cave clays).

3.      Registration site will be opening this week.

Check-out our website for constant updates and meeting changes.
