CMS Annual Meeting - Judges needed for 53 Student Presentations
Dear Colleagues,
The annual meeting is only two weeks away! To add a little more excitement
to your experience at the meeting, as the chair of the CMS Awards committee,
I would like to invite our society leadership and experienced members to
judge our students¹ presentations: 37 oral and 16 posters, a total of 53
student presentations this year! It is great news to CMS that we have such a
large number of young clay enthusiasts joining the group and attending the
meeting!
To hit the target set by the meeting organizers: announce the student
presentation award at the Wednesday business meeting, the CMS Awards
committee needs your help to judge the presentations. We hope each judge
will be able to evaluate 4 to 5 student presentations, and each student
presentation will have at least 4 judges to evaluate.
The attached Excel spreadsheet shows the student presentations with the
session topic, day, time, room, and title. Please mark an ³X² in front of
the student¹s name in column A to indicate you will judge his/her
presentation. A judging form (pdf) is also attached and the hardcopy will
be available at the CMS manager Mary Gray¹s desk at the meeting. After
judging, please turn in your completed form to the manager desk.
Please reply to me directly to indicate that you area available for judging
by next Friday (June 1). Thanks a lot for your help and look forward to
seeing you in two weeks.

I tried to send you my list but am currently in Canada at a hotel and it did not send. I am happy to do 5 posters as I will be going on social and field trips some days.
