Dear colleagues,
Not too long ago an important archaeological find was made in Belgium, of a
prehistoric gold collector/dealer, together with his gold specimens.
Of course we are now wondering
- if all the specimens came from the same locality
- what locality/localities the specimens came from.
It's obvious this information would be very important in order to shed
light on this person and on the trade routes the gold traveled on.
Is there anyone who has experience in tracing the origin of gold specimens?
If so, or if you know of someone, please get in touch with me.
Cheers, Herwig
