CMS 2026: Call for session proposals - Deadline December 15

The 63rd Annual Meeting of the Clay Minerals Society will be held in Provo, Utah on July 7-11, 2026. The website for the meeting can reached by clicking this linkhttps://clayconferences.org/clay-minerals-society-2026-meeting/, and will be updated as the conference approaches.

Session proposals are due in 1 week, on December 15, 2025. To submit a session proposal, please e-mail a title, name(s) of session chair(s), and <200-word description to jmcintosh@usgs.gov (cc barry_bickmore@byu.edu) by December 15, 2025, at 11:59 PM Mountain Time.

We are planning a workshop on halloysite clays (July 7), as well as a field trip (July 11) to some local halloysite deposits and the facilities at Ionic Mineral Technologieshttps://ionicmt.com/. Stay tuned for more information.
