Hello mineralogists, I have about ten powdered samples (claystones from Egypt) for which I need to analyze whole-rock powder XRD for phase ID and estimated modal abundances. I have the instrument and could gather the data but not the expertise or the software to reduce it. Anybody interested in joining the project? I could either send the powders or run them here to your specifications (2Theta range, step size, etc.) and send data. I have whole-rock major and trace element chemistry already and my collaborators in Egypt have done the field work and petrography.
