Dear MSA Colleagues,

I wanted to let you all know that Season Three of my educational video
series for kids (and all rock lovers!) - Every Rock Has A Story
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCl0Zrg9JFh5o4SPg94veh0w - will launch
next Thursday September 8th.

In eight new episodes this season, we are taking our show on the road...
visiting diverse scientists in their labs and field areas across the
country!  Still directed towards a K-6 audience, we want our youngest
learners to be inspired by the wonders of the Earth, and to see themselves
as scientists.  Follow us to the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone National Park,
field sites in Western Massachusetts, as well as research labs at Brown
University, Amherst College, UC Irvine, and MIT.  See the graphic below for
more details about the episodes schedule.

You can watch this short teaser for Season Three HERE

Making of Season Three" Playlist

short clips from our filming sessions to get a sense of what we are up to.
Huge thanks to all the scientists, children, and the production team who
have contributed to making this season possible.

As always, I appreciate the support of the MSA community in getting out the
word about Every Rock Has A Story.  Please share this with any parents,
teachers, and kids you know.  While these videos are for everyone, this
season aligns well with 3rd and 4th grade NGSS ESS Curriculum.
https://www.nextgenscience.org/  I'll also send a reminder next week when
the first episode has posted.

Thanks for your help in inspiring the next generation of geoscientists...
and remember that Every Rock Has A Story!

enjoy.

Best
Ethan
