Dear community,
We cordially invite you to submit an abstract to AsCA (Asian
Crystallographic Association) 2025 sessions related to crystallography,
mineralogy, phase transitions, physical properties, and various
experimental and computational techniques. For full details, please visit:
https://asca2025.org/page/12
This invitation particularly highlights the following microsymposia:
-
MS2-4: Minerals and inorganic materials
-
MS2-5: Polymorphism, co-crystals, and solid-state phase transitions
-
MS3-2: Phase transition: from static to dynamic phenomena of
quantum materials
-
MS3-3: Electronic structures as seen by X-ray and electron
diffraction
- *MS3-4: *Special measurement technique: extreme condition,
time-resolved, in-situ measurement
-
MS4-2: Materials from the solar system and beyond
-
MS4-5:* Interdisciplinary approach for disorder and short-range
order in materials*
-
MS5-1: X-ray free electron lasers: techniques and applications
-
MS5-2: Quantum crystallography covering experimental and
computational works
-
MS5-4: Advances in synchrotron and neutron sciences
These sessions span a wide range of cutting-edge topics in crystallography
and materials science, with particular relevance to the mineralogical and
geoscience communities. We welcome contributions involving the
crystallography and spectroscopy of minerals and inorganic materials,
solid-state phase transitions, and structural evolution under extreme
conditions. Several sessions highlight experimental breakthroughs using
synchrotron, neutron, and X-ray free electron laser techniques, as well as
emerging computational and quantum crystallographic approaches. Topics
include vibrational and electronic properties, disorder and short-range
order, planetary materials, and dynamic structural phenomena across scales
and environments. AsCA 2025 will take place in Taipei, Taiwan, from
December 1 to 5, 2025. The abstract submission deadline is 1 August 2025.
