Asst. Prof of Geoscience Position - Starting January 2023

Winona State University invites applications for the position of Instructor/Assistant Professor of Geoscience.  This is a fixed-term/9 month appointment with a start date of 1/2023; this appointment may be extended one or more years due to upcoming sabbaticals.  Duties associated with this position include teaching lower- and upper-level geoscience courses that would include, but are not limited to, Minerals and Rocks, Structural Geology, Earth Systems Science, Natural Disasters (or other introductory geoscience courses as needed).  Minimum qualifications are an earned master's degree in geology or closely related field by August 2022 and demonstrated expertise related to structural geology, igneous and metamorphic petrology and GIS.
