National Academies webinar: Geophysical Consequences and Applications of Space Weather

Dear colleagues,

The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine's Committee on Solid Earth Geophysics is hosting a hybrid meeting entitled "Geophysical Consequences and Applications of Space Weather" on October 15 at 1-5 PM EDT. This meeting will explore the geophysical influences of space weather from the atmosphere to the deep Earth, as well as the geophysical tools used to study space weather.

Speakers will include:
Christopher Balch, NOAA SWPC
Anthea Coster, MIT Haystack Observatory
Seebany Datta-Barua, Illinois Institute of Technology
Jeffrey Love, U.S. Geological Survey
Tuija Pulkkinen, University of Michigan
Artem Smirnov, GFZ Potsdam
