MSA Members who have contributed significantly to the advancement of mineralogy, crystallography, geochemistry, petrology, or allied sciences and whose scientific contribution utilized mineralogical studies or data, may be designated as Fellows upon proper accreditation by the Committee on Nomination for Fellows and election by the Council.
Nominations for fellowship can be made by any MSA Fellow or Member. Please ensure that the package clearly outlines the candidate's contributions to advancing the field of mineralogy. For example, this may include research/publications, teaching/mentoring/advising, professional service, and development of educational materials.
The committee asks that the nominator compiles the following documents in a single electronic file (PDF):
