Please keep checking the MetSoc website for News updates: https://meteoritical.org/news The UCLA Meteorite Collection hosts a public virtual lecture with guest speakers about planetary science, usually dealing with meteorite research, meteorite collecting or asteroid studies for the cosmochemistry community and interested amateurs. Our lectures are offered after registration <https://ucla.zoom.us/meeting/register/tJEqduyupj0vGd3S0_52FsbHTbPjYr0sZQUj> every third Sunday of the month at 2:30 p.m. Pacific Time. For any parties interested in joining our mailing list, please email meteorites@ucla.edu. Once you register for one meeting, you will automatically get update reminders about future meetings. The August meeting, however, is on Sunday, August 9th. The speaker is Dr. Meenakshi Wadhwa from Arizona State University.
