Hi all,

Our team (Defects and Mineralogy) is currently hiring for a development scientist position. The bulk of the job is essentially failure analysis and quality control. Since we deal with a lot of interactions b/w glass-glass, glass-refractory, and refractory-refractory interfaces, a solid background in geology, mineralogy, chemistry and related disciplines is strongly desired, as is experience in optical and electron microscopy. Please see the listing below and apply via the link on the website.

I am happy to answer questions regarding the role, etc., but I cannot stress this enough: I am not the hiring manager and I have absolutely no sway with the hiring manager or HR. Members of our team have no say in anything before the initial phone screening interview with HR. I know, it's typical Corporate America HR horse hockey but there's little I can do about it.
